Catherine Camp McMillan's memorial page


Remembering Catherine Camp McMillan Cathie shows off a certificate she was given in early 2008 to thank her for her service to the MCHS '60 Reunion Committee, just one of many such awards she was given by organizations she served. The mass at Sacred Heart Church in Palm Desert attracted a large crowd. The graveside ceremony also drew many of Cathie's family and friends, despite the temperature: 113 degrees. Dozens of bouquets arrived for the rosary, including flowers from the City of Palm Springs, the City of Rancho Mirage, the Palm Springs Police Department, the Coachella Valley Association of Governments, the MCHS Class of 1960 (left), and many of Cathie's friends. A photo montage of Cathie's childhood in Manhattan Beach... Friends from Mira Costa gathered to remember Cathie. Nancy Estes Smith (right) came with her daughter (center) and granddaughter (left), who claims to be 31. Is that possible??? Did anyone else in the Class of 1960 have a grandchild in his/her 30s by July, 2008?
